Prolonged prothrombin time.. Hepatic cell failure. Bile stools. Malabsorption syndrome

Prolonged PT time:
1 - in liver cell failure: due to poor manufacturing of coagulation factors.
2 - in the bile stools: because of the absorption of vitamin K as a lipid.
3. In malabsorption syndrome: Because vitamin K is not absorbed as a normal nutrient that does not absorb the intestine.
