Sources of infection:
1. Sick lesion (vesicles) located in the mouth and foot.
2. Milk from the infected animal.
3. Mice secrete the virus in their faeces and contaminate food and drink without symptoms.
Infection repositories: cattle, pigs, sheep, infected goats.
