Cosmetic surgery developed as a branch of general surgery when its practice expanded and operations became more complicated in the early part of the century and with the beginning of the First World War. More than two decades ago, there has been a major development in this discipline. The fields of surgery include:
First: Treatment of burns:
The patient undergoes various procedures ranging from medical treatment and skin grafting and subsequent surgical procedures to improve the function of the affected organs.
Congenital malformations:
Some babies have certain birth defects, including but not limited to cleft lip and congenital sinus, excess fingers in hands and feet, close fingers in the hand, defects of ear flank, lower urethra in males and others.
Third: Face and skull surgery:
Where surgery is performed to treat congenital defects or complications of severe facial fractures after accidents, particularly traffic accidents.
Fourth: Head and neck surgery:
This section basically means tumor therapy in this area as well as reconstruction of the residual parts, and the cooperation of specialists in different areas to try to treat patients and maintain the various functions of infected organs and improve the shape after the distortion to be acceptable.
Fifth: Microscopy:
In which tissue is transferred from a specific area of the body to another area that is far from it, relying on establishing contact between the blood vessels of these tissues and similar vessels in the new location and using a microscope. The surgery has evolved and has been going a long way since Chinese doctors, nearly 20 years ago, re-integrated the accident-damaged fingers and magnifying glasses.
Sixth: Hand surgery:
Seventh: General Plastic Surgery:
The treatment of acute injuries from various types of injuries, facial and jaw fractures, loss of surface tissues, compensatory methods, problems of clinical ulcers, repair of defective scars resulting from injuries, removal of acne, tattooing and many other types.
Eighth: Optimization Surgery (aesthetic):
The most common operations are nose operations. Followed by the removal of skin and excess fat in the abdomen and after pregnancy and childbirth or weight gain, and most often the slackness of the intensity so as to hinder movement and normal activity. Recently, the process of liposuction accumulated due to obesity in certain areas of the body has been spread by introducing a suction tube under the skin and sucking different amounts of fat. Cosmetic surgery for the eyelids and facial skin comes next in terms of use among women in particular.
Patient problems range from illusion to reality. On the one hand, there are health problems and physical suffering. On the other hand, there is a psychological impact that is closer to the illusion than to the truth because of minor changes that are not noticeable.
