Genetic modification of fish.. Production of genetically modified fish. Transferring the genes to fertilized fertilized eggs or using an electrosurgery device

Genetic Transformation:
Most fish species improvement programs are based on traditional breeding methods, but there has recently been significant progress in the use of genetic modification to produce genetically modified fish.
Encouraged by this, commercial fish varieties are genetically similar to wild varieties, which helps and opens up great opportunities for gene transfers due to easy access to eggs and sperm from fish without surgery, as well as relatively large egg size and sperm's ability to live for one to two weeks. Saline solution and no need to sterilize For fertilization, genetic control in fish is simple and easy compared to other organisms.
The genes are transferred to fertilized eggs either by injecting [Microinjection] or using an electroporator.
This is followed by egg incubation in special conditions until hatching is done and thus we obtain fish with modified genes.
