Flat lichen:
Violet, glossy surface of papules and presence of oral changes are usually distinct.
Simple lichen may resemble psoriasis, especially on the scalp and near the elbow.
Thick skin marks, clear edges and severe itching are characteristic.
Chronic lichenic lichen
Pityriasis lichenoides chronica:
Psoriasis is very similar to psoriasis, but lesions are usually less clustered, with a brownish-brown or orange-brown color and covered with a soft white crust.
