Soralen with Puva or sun exposure:
Caution should be taken from using PUVA and PUVB as a treatment pattern due to side effects and exacerbation of lesions in some patients where these drugs are not prescribed for young children under 12 years of age.
Sorrelin tablets are taken two hours before the lesions are exposed to PUVA or to the sun (in the morning). The dose of suraline is determined by the patient's weight.
Precautions should be taken when UV rays are used to protect the eyes with special lenses from the effects of PUVA.
In cases where radiation can not be used, exposure to sunlight, which must be in the morning and before 3 pm, as UV radiation decreases thereafter may lead to good results.
The patient must be confirmed to take the tablets of the suraline or birth before exposure to radiation or else it will not get the desired results of treatment.
