Symptoms of pulmonary fibrosis disease.. The accumulation of fibroblasts and the lack of numbers of pulmonary cells responsible for breathing

The symptoms of pulmonary fibrosis result in gradual loss of lung function due to the accumulation of fibroblasts and a decrease in the number of pulmonary cells responsible for breathing. Therefore, the patient suffers difficulty breathing gradually increases over time. Other symptoms such as chronic dry cough also appear. Some advanced conditions reduce the level of oxygen in the blood to serious rates leading to a sharp rise in the pressure of the lung, which results in disruption in the functions of the heart and therefore failure as may be observed some of the disease, swelling in the fingertips of the hand and foot and possibly blue.
