Acrodermatitis continua of Hallopeau:
Pustular psoriasis is a rare disease in children but it affects adults in middle age.
The first lesion begins on the fingers of the hands and toes, usually preceded by simple trauma or skin infection on the distant final salami as the skin becomes reddish and then blisters appear.
Fungal folds and nail cupping may be damaged, leading to nail dysfunctions and can be broken.
Bone changes may occur with osteolysis in distant salami and the free end of the fingers may become incomplete, transplanted and scleroderma. In such cases, the blood circulation may become weakened by the extremities as this causes discomfort in the cold air.
