Methotrexate for the treatment of severe psoriasis. Clofazimine. Dapson. Spabridine



- Methotrexate:
This medicine is not used in infants and children because of its dangerous effect on younger ages.
In adults and larger groups may be used to treat severe psoriasis, which does not respond to all other treatments.
Methotrexate should be used under severe surveillance and after complete surveys, especially blood counts and liver functions.

Other medicines used in the treatment of psoriasis:
Clofazemine, dabson, and sapaberidine are known to promote moderate hyperplasia and may be beneficial for psoriasis.
