Neonatal Acne.. Small papules on the sebaceous areas especially front and cheeks because of the increased effectiveness of the sebaceous glands, androgen and estrogen in circulation



Neonatal Acne:
Skin lesions immediately after birth begin to form small papules on the sebaceous areas especially the forehead and cheeks due to increased effectiveness of sebaceous glands, androgen and estrogen in circulation may have some role.
Young people's pills may be prevalent in the family.
The condition gradually disappears within a few weeks.
Persistent cases may require disinfectants such as Dalacin T lotion and topical Erydermisin.
